Patenga Container Terminal Concession Signing Ceremony
(Bangladesh, Chittagong, December 6th 2023)
Red Sea Gateway Terminal International (RSGTI), through its subsidiary RSGT Bangladesh Ltd., signed a 22-year Equip-Operate-Transfer concession agreement with the Chittagong Port Authority for the operation of the new 250,000 TEU capacity (Phase I) Patenga Container Terminal at Bangladesh’s primary seaport. The concession, signed by RSGTI CEO Jens Floe, and CPA Chairman Rear Admiral Mohammed Sohail in the presence of her Excellency Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, and His Excellency Khalid A. Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, calls for an investment of $170 million over the term of the concession period.
